Anderson Lake

  • Directions: From Port Townsend:
    Take SR 20 south for 6.7 miles, then turn east on Anderson Lake Rd. Proceed 1.1 miles to park entrance.

    From Hwy. 101 heading north:
    At Discovery Bay, turn right onto Hwy. 20. Go 3.7 miles to Anderson Lake Rd., and turn right. Follow this road for 1.1 miles, and turn left into park entrance.

 Lower Big Quilcene

  • Directions: Go1 mile South of Quilcene on Hwy 101, turn right on Penny Creek Road and continue up 1 mile to where the FS #27 mainline road "Y"s to the left. Continue up the gravel road, which turns back to pavement, for 4 1/2 miles. One- quarter mile past the first intersection where you veer to the right, turn off #27 Road to the left on a narrow access road to the trailhead. It is signed, but is small.

Lower Dungeness/Gold Creek

  • Directions: Trailhead is 14.5 miles south of Sequim. Drive the Palo Alto Road, 2 miles north of Sequim Bay State Park on US Highway 101, to F.S. Road #28 and continue to the intersection with F.S. Road #2880. Continue on #2880 for 2 miles. Turn left at #2860. Road is blocked 1 mile from trailhead. Park at road closure and walk FS Road #2860 to trailhead. 

Lower South Fork of the Skokomish

  • Directions: From US Highway 101, turn west onto the Skokomish Valley Road (6 miles north of Shelton and 7 miles south of Hoodsport).  Drive west on the Skokomish Valley Road from the George Adams State Fish Hatchery for about 5 miles to FS Road #23. Turn right onto FS #23 and drive 9.0 miles to FS Road #2353. Turn right onto FS #2353 and drive to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge.  Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the left. Drive to the trailhead on the left. LeBar Horse Camp entrance is on the right.
